From 1985 until July 2017, Walker Creek Furniture was a thriving custom-furniture business in Essex M,assachusetts. Homeowners, decorators, architects and businesses appreciated the casual, aged look of our furniture, often constructed from antique boards, doors, and other architectural elements from New England farmhouses and barns. Walker Creek was also a notable venue for exhibits by established and emerging New England artists.

In 2017, Robert Hanlon retired from the retail business and Patty Hanlon from a job in marketing communications. The name change—from Walker Creek Furniture to Walker Creek Artworks—reflects the fact we continue to make furniture, paintings and sculptures in this non-retirement phase of our lives.
